Along with steven's family, 16 other families and my cousin, our family went to Seven Springs Ski resort in PA. We stayed from friday - monday.
There was a plethora of asian people there. Upon entering the lobby, we saw a couple packages of ramen boxes being carried around. The asian population almost rivaled that of TJ. Oddly enough, there were like 10 TJ people there. It was scary. We saw Ivan, Cassandra, Sherwin, Jeff C., Zahra, Amy, Andrew Li, Joe (although he doesnt know who I am and he doesnt go to TJ), couple of juniors and seniors... and I'm forgetting a lot of people.
Skiing was fun. I've never skied before and started friday night... it was kind of funny. Took me like 5 something minutes to get up a 2 foot hill. Next day I went up the slope and managed to fall only 3 times on my first slope (which was double green -_-). Later I found Cassandra and we attempted to do a blue. We (which means I, and then Cassandra had to follow me down to help me get up) ended up falling down into a wood. We kept on falling, and it was so steep that every time I got up I fell back down again. Later I found out that that wood was a double black diamond. Next day it was raining so we had to stay inside. George and I played like 15 games of pool... I think over the 3 days we spent at least $20+ on pool games. Some random guys came up to us and were like, "OMFG ITS GEORGE ZHAO DONT YOU REMEMBER ME GEORGE I WAS IN YOUR IBET OMGLOLWTF." The rain cleared up so we went up, and after a few hours I was good enough to attempt my first blues. The fog was amazing for photography, except you couldn't see any more than like 2 feet in front of you. Then it got dark and it was scary as hell. George pretended to hum themes from horror movies as we went up on the ski lift. It snowed the following day, which was annoying as anything cause my dad had the only goggles that our family owned. It was especially windy when we got to the top of the slope. It felt like shards of glass hitting your face -_-. I could barely ski double greens that day cause I couldnt keep my eyes open... until finally my dad gave me his goggles so I could attempt some other blues. Amazingly, I didnt fall much. The one time I did, however, there was ice stuck to the bottom of my boot so I couldn't put my ski on. It took me like 10 minutes to figure out why the skis didn't fit... it was pretty embarrassing.

View from the hotel.

As you can see, the fog was pretty heavy up top.

Fog.

Yay for seven springs (except for not really, they ripped everyone off.)

omg, FFFFFF white.

That speck is George.

Frozen lake-pond at the top of the slopes.

Snow o_o
